What Does a Hyrox Season Really Cost? Between 320 and Over 2,000 Euros
HyroxDataLab breaks down the full budget, from entry fees to gear. The gap between a budget season and a premium one goes well beyond the race bib price.
HyroxDataLab published a detailed breakdown of what a Hyrox season actually costs. The entry fee alone ranges from 80 to 120 euros for individual Open or Pro, 65 to 85 euros per person for doubles, 40 to 60 euros for a four-person relay, and up to 150-200 euros for the world championships. Early bird pricing saves 20 to 30 euros.
On gear, running shoes remain the priority spend (100 to 180 euros), ahead of technical apparel (50 to 100 euros). Gym membership adds up over time: 30 to 60 euros a month for a standard gym, 80 to 150 euros for a functional-training box, up to 150 euros per session for one-on-one coaching. Over a four-month prep block, gym costs alone range from 120 to over 600 euros.
Overall, the guide lands on three profiles: around 320 euros for a minimalist season (local race, basic gym, gear already owned), close to 950 euros for a comfortable prep, and over 2,070 euros for a premium format including international travel and regular coaching.
The numbers land just as Hyrox overhauled elite race access for the 2026/2027 season, with a new licensing system covered by several specialist outlets in May. For someone targeting Open or Pro without world-qualification ambitions, the budget stays manageable. The real cost driver isn't the entry fee, it's showing up consistently at the gym over several months.
