Terms
Terms of use
What Traxrace makes available to you, what the site does not guarantee, and what is expected of everyone.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
1. Purpose
These terms govern access to and use of the Traxrace site, published by the person identified in the legal notice. Browsing the site constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you do not accept them, simply do not use the site. A business that buys advertising space or a promoted listing on the site is also subject to the terms of sale.
2. What the site offers
Traxrace provides, free of charge and without account creation:
- a directory of gyms, boxes and coaches focused on hybrid training and functional fitness;
- a calendar of hybrid competitions and races, with a link to each organiser’s official registration;
- athlete profiles, published only with the consent of the person concerned (see article 6);
- guides and news on training, equipment and practice;
- tools for information purposes (time simulator, gym comparison, checklist, weight converter);
- a favourites feature and a “Notify me” alert for each competition (see article 7);
- a newsletter with voluntary subscription.
The site is an information and networking medium. It sells no sessions, no race bibs and no memberships, and organises no competitions. Any registration, booking or payment is made with the third party concerned, under its own terms.
The site uses the terms “Hyrox” and “DEKA” descriptively: they are registered trademarks belonging respectively to HYROX GmbH and Spartan Race Inc. Traxrace is an independent media outlet, with no contractual link to these organisers or to any of them.
3. Access to the service
Access is free and requires no account. The publisher endeavours to keep the site continuously available, without any guarantee of result: it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or in the event of an incident at a technical provider. An interruption gives no right to compensation.
4. Reliability of published information
Listings are built from public sources and checked before publication, but they describe third parties whose activity changes. Opening hours, prices, disciplines, competition dates and access conditions must always be confirmed with the establishment or organiser before you travel or pay.
An error you notice can be reported at any time via the contact page. Corrections are made after verification.
5. Training and health
The training content and tools on the site (time simulator, weight converter) are general information. They do not constitute medical advice or a personalised programme, and do not replace a doctor or a coach. Hybrid training places heavy demands on the body: before starting or resuming, and in case of illness, injury, pregnancy or doubt, seek medical advice. Everyone trains at their own risk and remains the sole judge of the intensity they impose on themselves.
6. Athlete profiles and image rights
No athlete profile is published without the explicit consent of the person concerned, even where the results displayed are otherwise public. This consent covers the profile itself and, where applicable, the photos and videos that accompany it. A request for modification or removal, made by the athlete personally, can be sent at any time via the contact page, with no justification required.
7. Favourites and the “Notify me” alert
Favourites are stored locally in your browser: they are neither transmitted to nor accessible by the publisher, and disappear if you change device or clear your browsing data.
The “Notify me” alert, offered on each competition page, is activated only after confirmation by email (to prevent a third party’s address from being entered). Once confirmed, it results in at most one reminder two weeks and then two days before the event, and a message if a change of date, venue or price comes to the publisher’s attention. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
8. Contributions and reports
The information you submit (suggestion of a gym, coach or competition, correction of a listing) must be accurate and you must be entitled to share it. By sending it, you authorise its publication on the site. The publisher remains free to publish, modify or refuse a suggestion, in particular if it cannot be verified, and without having to give reasons for a refusal.
9. Fair use of the site
The following are prohibited:
- automated, mass or repeated extraction of the site’s content (scraping of the directory or calendar), and the reuse of these databases to build a competing service;
- any attempt at unauthorised access to protected areas, administration interfaces or data;
- sending unlawful, insulting, misleading or advertising content through the site’s forms.
10. Outbound links, affiliation and advertising
The site links to third-party sites that it does not control and for whose content and practices it accepts no responsibility. Some product links are affiliate links: a purchase made after a click may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. The site also displays advertising units, always labelled “Advertisement”, sold to professionals under the conditions of the terms of sale. This funding does not determine the editorial content or the directory ranking, as explained on the About page.
11. Newsletter
Subscription to the newsletter is voluntary and is made by explicitly entering your email address. Each message contains a one-click unsubscribe link, effective immediately. The data linked to subscription is described in the privacy policy.
12. Intellectual property
The editorial content, the structure of the site, its graphic identity and its brand are protected. Their reproduction or reuse without written permission is prohibited, except for a short quotation with a link to the original page. Details appear in the legal notice.
13. Liability
The publisher cannot be held liable for damage resulting from use of the site, unavailability of the service, information that has become inaccurate, the content of a third-party site reached through a link, or a sporting activity undertaken after reading content. Nothing in these terms limits the publisher’s liability where the law prohibits such a limitation.
14. Changes to the terms
These terms may be amended to follow changes to the site or to regulations. The applicable version is the one published on this page, whose update date appears at the top.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of difficulty, first write to contact@traxrace.com: the vast majority of situations are settled this way. Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
