Rogue Invitational 2026: $1.2 million purse in Aberdeen, free to watch live

The 2026 Rogue Invitational runs Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October, pitting the four 2026 CrossFit Games medalists against the last two Invitational champions at the P&J Live Arena in Aberdeen, Scotland. It is the eighth edition and, per the organizer, the third and last to be held at that venue. Twenty men and twenty women are entered, with the last four spots on each roster decided through The Q, the online qualifier. Among the men, defending champion Jeffrey Adler of Canada faces Games champion James Sprague; among the women, three time champion Laura Horvath of Hungary meets Britain's Aimee Cringle, the 27 year old Games champion making her first Invitational appearance. No French athlete is entered, though eleven Europeans feature across both rosters.

A purse that moves with bitcoin

The announced starting purse stands at $1,215,000, topped up by $275,000 Rogue invests in bitcoin ahead of the event. The final payout therefore depends partly on the crypto's price on competition day, on top of ticket and tee shirt sales and a cut of The Q entry fees. For scale, the 2025 purse climbed to $1,569,513.79 by the day of the event, lifted by a bitcoin rally during that week. Ten men and ten women from twelve countries also compete in Strongman and Strongwoman at the same venue, led by Canada's Mitchell Hooper, unbeaten since 2023 and 2026 World's Strongest Man, against home favorite Tom Stoltman of Scotland.

Why a Hyrox athlete should still watch

The Invitational is nothing like a Hyrox race, but its three day mix of raw strength, gymnastics and endurance offers a useful watch for anyone refining their own station transitions. The broadcast streams free on Rogue Fitness's YouTube channel and the organizer's site, no paid multi camera option needed to follow live results.
