Hyrox Bordeaux
Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux, Cours Jules Ladoumegue, 33300 Bordeaux
Hyrox Bordeaux took place from 30 September to 4 October 2026 in Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux, Cours Jules Ladoumegue, 33300 Bordeaux. This edition is over. Formats available: Open, Pro, Doubles, Doubles Pro, Relais, Adaptive.
HYROX returns to Bordeaux after two editions, and the event grows in scale: five days of racing at the Parc des Expositions, Wednesday to Sunday, where most French legs run over three or four. Waves run from 8am to 8:30pm each day, Pro divisions are grouped on Friday, and the big Open volumes fall on the weekend. The real logistical question isn't the race itself, it's the venue: the park sits north of the city, at the end of tram line C, about thirty minutes from Saint-Jean station.

Race day, in practice
- Address
- Cours Jules Ladoumegue, 33300 Bordeaux
- Bib pickup
- Early pickup on Tuesday 29 September at Intersport, 50-60 rue Sainte-Catherine in Bordeaux, hours not yet announced. Race weekend, a division's check-in opens 90 minutes before its first wave, and only on the day you race. A physical ID is required, digital copies are refused, and nobody can collect another athlete's bib.
- Parking
- The park's operator advertises 7,000 free spaces on site. Worth noting: this is documented for the park's trade shows, no official source confirms it during HYROX. Check before counting on it.
- Transport
- Tram line C to the Parc des Expositions terminus: about 35 minutes from Saint-Jean station, 25 minutes from the city centre. Buses 15, 25 and 37. From Merignac airport, line 1 to Saint-Jean then tram C, about an hour. The tram runs until midnight, and 1am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays: the last 8:30pm waves are covered.
- Spectators
- 15 euros per day and per person, to buy online only: no spectator tickets are sold on site. Free for under-12s, who still need a ticket, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult with theirs. The athlete wristband only grants access on the day of your own race: to come and support a teammate on a different day, you need a spectator ticket.
- Allowed gear
- Closed shoes required, except at wall balls where they can be taken off and left under the rig. Allowed: knee sleeves, gloves (but no grips), weight belt, wristbands, hydration pack. Not allowed: headphones and earbuds, phones, body cameras, earplugs, smart glasses. The 26/27 rulebook defaults the other way: whatever isn't explicitly allowed is banned. Chalk is only used at sled pull and farmers carry, and only the chalk provided on site, otherwise a 2-minute penalty applies.

Where it happens
Good to know
The programme, day by day
Wednesday and Thursday follow the same pattern: men's Open at 8am, men's doubles late morning, women's doubles in the afternoon, women's Open around 4pm, mixed doubles until 8:30pm. Friday concentrates the Pro divisions and ends with the three relays, between 7:30pm and 8:30pm. Saturday and Sunday absorb the biggest volumes, with Open and doubles slots running back to back for four hours at a stretch.
The organiser labels the schedule as provisional. Your individual start time, though, is published about three days before the event in the start list, and can't be swapped.
Getting there on time
Allow 90 minutes before your start time: that's what's needed for check-in, bag drop and warm-up. You join the start tunnel 10 minutes before. In France, the bib number encodes the start time, bib 080030 means an 8:00am start.
Bags and changing rooms
Changing rooms and bag drop on site, but no showers. One bag per athlete, cabin-bag size, to drop off 45 to 60 minutes before your race. Once dropped off, it's no longer accessible: timing chip, gels and race gear stay on you. Nothing is provided for spectators.
Changing your mind after registering
Without a Flex option, the bib is final: no refund, no name change, no postponement. Lite Flex at 12.50 euros only unlocks a name change to someone of the same sex, up to 7:59am the day before your race day. Full Flex adds a refund, 100 percent up to 31 days out, 50 percent up to 7 days out. No transfer to another event and no division change, under any circumstances.

Where can you park at the Parc des Expositions?
The venue operator advertises 7,000 free spaces on its website. That's documented for the park's trade shows but isn't confirmed by any official source for HYROX, so it's worth checking with the organiser. Tram line C serves the park directly and remains the safest option.
When do you pick up your bib?
Early pickup is planned for Tuesday 29 September at Intersport, rue Sainte-Catherine, hours not yet published. Otherwise, check-in opens 90 minutes before your division's first wave, on race day itself, with a physical ID.
Do you have to pay to come and cheer?
Yes, 15 euros per day and per person, online only. Under-12s get in free but still need a ticket, and under-16s must be accompanied. An athlete wanting to come back on a different day than their own race also needs a spectator ticket.
Are there showers on site?
No. HYROX provides changing rooms and bag drop at every leg, but never showers.
