before the start

Hyrox Nice takes place from 29 October to 1 November 2026 in Parvis de l'Europe, 06000 Nice. Registration is open, from 75 to 124 €. Formats available: Open, Pro, Doubles, Doubles Pro, Relais, Adaptive.

Nice has become one of HYROX's strongholds in France: World Championships in 2024, a 4,000-athlete leg the same year, then a February 2026 edition announced at 16,000 athletes. This autumn leg joins the calendar at the same venue, the Palais des Expositions, from 29 October to 1 November. Four days, with the Pro divisions on Friday and relays late in the evening. One feature announced by the organiser that you won't find elsewhere: a bird's-eye view from the Thunderdome to watch other waves between your own passes.

Race day, in practice

Address
Parvis de l’Europe, Palais des Expositions, 06000 Nice
Bib pickup
Not published yet: the early pickup section exists on the official page but remains empty as of 7 September 2026. The general rule applies in the meantime: check-in opens 90 minutes before your division's first wave, only on your race day, with a physical ID. Picking up another athlete's bib isn't allowed.
Parking
Two public car parks serve the Palais des Expositions: Jean Bouin, 1,819 car spaces and 40 two-wheeler spaces, 1.90 m height limit, and Promenade des Arts. Both are paid car parks and their pricing isn't published online. No HYROX pricing agreement is announced.
Transport
Tram line L1, Palais des Expositions stop. From Nice station, L1 towards Hopital Pasteur. From the airport, L2 towards Port Lympia to Garibaldi Chateau, then switch to L1. By car, exit 50 off the A8 then into central Nice via the Promenade des Anglais. Exact journey times aren't published by the venue operator.
Spectators
15 euros per day and per person, online only, nothing sold on site. Free for under-12s, who still need a ticket, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. The athlete wristband only opens the venue on your own race day.
Allowed gear
Closed shoes from start to finish, except at wall balls where they can be taken off and left under the rig. Knee sleeves, gloves without grips, weight belt, wristbands and hydration pack are allowed. Headsets, earbuds, phones, body cameras, earplugs and smart glasses are not. The 26/27 rulebook flips the usual logic: anything not listed as allowed is banned.

Where it happens

Good to know

Four days, a packed Friday

Thursday opens with Open and doubles, from 8am to 8:30pm. Friday is the busiest day: men's Open early morning, then Pro men and Pro women, doubles, and the three relays between 7:40pm and 8:30pm. Saturday and Sunday pick up the big Open and doubles volumes, through to the Pro doubles on Saturday evening.

The schedule stays provisional until the organiser locks it in, and your individual start time only lands about three days before the race, in the start list.

The venue

The Palais des Expositions is in the city, served directly by tram line L1, which changes a lot compared with legs held in an out-of-town exhibition park: accommodation, food and getting home at night can all be handled on foot or by tram. It's the same venue as previous editions, no change of location to expect.

Bags, changing rooms, recovery

Changing rooms and bag drop, no showers, as at every HYROX leg. One bag per athlete, cabin-bag size, dropped off 45 to 60 minutes before your race and inaccessible afterwards. No specific arrangements for spectators.

If something comes up

A bib without a Flex option doesn't move: no refund, no name change, no postponement to another leg or to next season. Lite Flex only lets you transfer your bib to someone of the same sex, up to 7:59am the day before your race day. Full Flex adds a refund, 100 percent up to 31 days out, then 50 percent up to 7 days out.

Where to train nearby

Looking for a gym or box to get started with Hyrox, or to improve your fitness before Hyrox Nice?

Below you will find the 6 gyms and boxes closest to the venue in Nice, offering equipment and training in Hyrox, cross-training and functional fitness. Many of them train athletes all year round, which is the best way to prepare for a race over several weeks: structured sessions, the Hyrox stations (SkiErg, sled push and pull, rowing, wall balls) and coaches who know the format. 2 of them accept visiting athletes as a drop-in, session by session, so you can warm up, rehearse the stations or simply keep your routine while you are in Nice for the event. Compare distance, equipment and drop-in conditions before you book.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get to the Palais des Expositions without a car?

Tram line L1 stops right in front, at the Palais des Expositions stop. From Nice station, a single line gets you there. From the airport, take L2 to Garibaldi Chateau then switch to L1.

Are there still spots for HYROX Nice?

As of 7 September 2026, several individual and doubles division tickets were no longer available on the official ticketing site, though the organiser hasn't announced a sellout. Charity tickets and second-athlete doubles spots remained open.

Is parking paid?

Yes. Both venue car parks, Jean Bouin and Promenade des Arts, are paid public car parks. Their hourly rate isn't published online and no HYROX-linked pricing deal is announced.

Can you come and watch without racing?

Yes, with a spectator ticket at 15 euros per day, bought online in advance. Nothing is sold at the door on the day.

What happens if you get injured before the race?

Nothing is provided for injury specifically. Any refund depends entirely on the Flex option bought alongside the bib: 100 percent up to 31 days out, 50 percent up to 7 days out. Without Flex, the bib is lost.
