before the start
Hyrox Paris Grand Palais takes place from the 8 to 12 April 2027 in Grand Palais, 3 Avenue Winston-Churchill, 75008 Paris. Registration has not opened yet. Formats available: Open, Doubles, Relais.
HYROX under the glass roof of the Grand Palais is the most spectacular fixture on the French calendar, and the only one held in a historic landmark rather than an exhibition centre. The race takes place in the Nave, 13,500 sq m under a 17,500 sq m glass roof. The April 2026 edition drew over 18,000 athletes according to the Grand Palais itself, after a first edition in 2025: the one running from 8 to 12 April 2027 is therefore the third. Nothing else is public yet, neither the wave schedule nor the prices.

How much does it cost
- Pricing tiers
- Ticketing isn't open as of 7 September 2026. The official page only offers a waiting list to be notified when tickets go on sale, and no shop exists yet for this leg. No price can therefore be announced. Ranges circulating on specialist blogs are estimates built from past editions, not official prices.
Race day, in practice
- Address
- 3 avenue Winston-Churchill, 75008 Paris
- Bib pickup
- Not published: the early pickup and check-in sections are blank on the official page. Two rules are already set: a division's check-in opens 90 minutes before its first wave, only on race day, and ID must be physical, digital copies and photos are refused. Picking up someone else's bib isn't allowed.
- Parking
- The Grand Palais has no car park of its own. The nearest public car parks are Place de la Concorde, Rond-point des Champs-Elysees, Parc Francois-1er, Alma Georges-V, Champs-Elysees Lincoln and Matignon. No price or capacity is published. Disabled parking at Cours la Reine and place Clemenceau, with a drop-off zone on avenue du General Eisenhower. Driving to this area on race day is the worst option available.
- Transport
- Metro lines 1 and 9, Franklin D. Roosevelt station, or lines 1 and 13, Champs-Elysees Clemenceau station. RER C, Invalides station. Buses 28, 42, 52, 63, 72, 73, 80, 83 and 93. Velib bike stations on avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt and avenue Dutuit. Worth noting: the event's official address is 3 avenue Winston-Churchill, but the landmark's main entrance is listed at square Jean Perrin, 17 avenue du General Eisenhower. Check which one serves as the athlete entrance before you arrive.
- Spectators
- Paid, as at other legs, but this edition's price isn't published yet since ticketing hasn't opened. An athlete who makes the podium after a weekday race can come back free for the ceremony by checking in at the Help Desk with ID; their companions still need to buy a spectator ticket.
- Allowed gear
- Closed shoes required, except at wall balls. Allowed: knee sleeves, gloves without grips, weight belt, wristbands, hydration pack. Not allowed: headsets and earbuds, phones, body cameras, earplugs, smart glasses. The 26/27 rulebook keeps it simple: whatever isn't explicitly allowed is banned, and a confiscated item can be collected from customer service after the race.
Where it happens
Good to know
The Nave
The Grand Palais was built for the 1900 World's Fair and its Nave covers 13,500 sq m under a 17,500 sq m glass roof. After restoration, its capacity grew from 5,600 to 9,000 people present at once. That figure is an instantaneous capacity, not a total participant count: the 18,000 athletes announced in April 2026 were spread over four days.
For the 2026 edition, the organiser highlighted the Friday evening, with the relays run under the lit-up glass roof. Nothing yet confirms whether this format returns in 2027.
What isn't published yet
The wave schedule, exact divisions, number of running laps, bib pickup times, prices and registration opening date all remain blank on the official page as of 7 September 2026. Only the general mention "solo, doubles or relay" appears in the presentation text.
Getting there
The area is very well served by public transport and very poorly suited to a car. Two metro stations under five minutes away, RER C at Invalides, nine bus lines. The landmark has no car park and the public car parks nearby publish neither price nor capacity.
One thing worth confirming
Charity ticket fundraising requirements differ between the two official Paris pages: 500 euros minimum for doubles on the Porte de Versailles page, 600 euros on the Grand Palais one. Worth confirming with the organiser when you register.
