Hyrox Youngstars Paris takes place from the 19 to 20 December 2026 in Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, 1 Place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris. Registration is open, from 40 to 60 €. Formats available: 8-9 ans, 10-11 ans, 12-13 ans, 14-15 ans.

The kids' version of HYROX, at the same venue and the same weekend as the Paris leg. Eight categories from 8 to 15 years old, boys and girls separated, on a course that keeps the adults' eight stations in a scaled-down form: 200 to 275 metre running laps, lighter sleds, squats instead of wall balls for the youngest. It's the child's age on race day that sets the category, not the age at registration. A companion ticket is included in the price, and the parent's presence is mandatory from start to finish.

Race day, in practice

Address
1 place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris
Bib pickup
On race day only, exact times not published yet. A category's check-in opens 60 minutes before its first wave. To bring: the guardian's ID, the child's ID, and the ticket's QR code. No child is released to an unverified adult.
Parking
Same car parks as the adult leg: underground P6 with direct hall access, plus P7, P8 and P2 depending on the event, and disabled spaces on P1, P6 and P7. No pricing scale is published by the venue operator.
Transport
Metro line 12, Porte de Versailles station, exit 1 for halls 2 to 7. Trams T2 and T3a, buses 80 and 39. Morning waves start at 7:35am, with check-in an hour before: plan for an early start on public transport on both the Saturday and the Sunday in December.
Spectators
15 euros per day and per person, online only. A companion ticket is already included in the child's entry, other family members need a spectator ticket. Under-12s enter free but still need a ticket. This ticket also covers HYROX Paris the same weekend.
Allowed gear
The guardian must stay present for the whole race but can't accompany the child on the course: the child is handed to staff in the start area, parents follow from outside the barriers, with viewing points set up at each station. Adults don't have access to secured athlete areas. The child is collected in the finish area immediately after their race, once the QR code, bib and guardian's name are checked.

Where it happens

Good to know

The course, age by age

Eight stations in the same order as the adults, with 200 to 275 metre running laps. 8-9 and 10-11 year-olds run three laps in total, one at the start, one in the middle and one before the last station. 12-13 year-olds run four, 14-15 year-olds one between each station.

The adaptations are real, not cosmetic. 8-9 year-olds do frog jumps instead of burpee broad jumps, pull a 25 kg sled backwards instead of the classic sled pull, and do 50 squats with 1 kg rather than wall balls. At the other end, 14-15 year-old boys push 102 kg over 30 metres and throw 50 wall balls of 4 kg at a 2.70 m target.

Loads by category, youngest to oldest: sled push from 35 to 102 kg, farmers carry from 4 to 16 kg per hand, unloaded lunges up to 10 kg, SkiErg from 300 to 600 metres, rowing machine from 200 to 500 metres.

What a morning looks like

Arrive at least an hour before the time shown on the ticket. Watch out: that time is the check-in call time, not the actual start. Every child goes through a supervised 25-minute warm-up led by staff before heading to the start area. Waves then start at regular intervals, about every ten minutes, between children of the same age and sex.

Saturday 19 December: boys 10-11 from 7:35am, girls 10-11, then boys 8-9 in the afternoon and girls 8-9 until 6:05pm. Sunday 20: girls then boys 12-13 in the morning, girls then boys 14-15 in the afternoon.

What the parent needs to plan

The child must come with the parent or guardian named at registration. If a different adult brings them, a signed consent form is mandatory. The guardian stays on site for the whole race and collects the child at the finish area, no exceptions.

Changing rooms and bag drop are announced but the details aren't published yet, and neither are the awards ceremony times.

Frequently asked questions

From what age can a child race?

8 years old on race day. The competition runs up to 15, in four age brackets, boys and girls separated. It's the age on race day that counts, not the age at registration.

How much does a Youngstars entry cost?

40 euros for 8-9 and 10-11 year-olds, 50 euros for 12-13, 60 euros for 14-15. The parent or legal guardian's ticket is included in that price.

Does a parent have to stay on site?

Yes, from start to finish. The guardian named at registration must be present, hands the child to staff in the start area and collects them in the finish area right after the race. No child is released to an unverified adult. Following your child on the course isn't allowed, but you can watch from behind the barriers.

Is the course the same as the adults'?

The eight stations are the same and in the same order, but everything is scaled down: 200 to 275 metre laps, lighter loads, and variants for the youngest like frog jumps or squats instead of wall balls.

Can you get a refund?

No, no refund is available on Youngstars entries, even with a Flex option. Lite Flex only lets you transfer the spot to another child of the same sex and age, up to 7:59am the day before the race.
