The Aero Glide 4 is Salomon's road shoe built around comfort. The upper has no seams, which limits rubbing on long runs, and the foam is described as dense and energetic, so the stride stays cushioned without feeling dead.

In a Hyrox build this is a shoe for the running side only: the 8 km are split into eight 1 km efforts, and most of the weekly mileage happens outside the gym. For the stations, a stable flat shoe such as the Nike Metcon 9 (men) remains the safer choice.
